Merry Christmas

Christmas Wish List

It is about a month until Christmas and a year has flown by since I wrote last years Christmas list. This year my list is a little longer but I can dream.

1. Every year I get a book for Christmas and usually there isn't a one I want but this year Zoe Sugg has published her book Girl Online and I know this is the type of book I would read,

2. The other week at collage we had a person come in from Urban Decay to do a demonstration and talk about the products. The Vice 3 palette has a range of colours that you can use to create a natural eye to a smoky eye and it has great colours to use throughout the autumn and winter.

3. Fujifilm Instax mini 8 is the next thing on my list, I want this as you can take great pictures and have them in your hand straight after.

4. Recently I have been really getting into watching American Horror Story and usually I don't like horror but this isn't as scary as I thought it would be and it also has Evan Peters. If I got the box set I could watch it any time I like.

5. I love skater dresses that have a kick out skirt and Jones and Jones seems to be the best place to get them. This one is one of my favourites and can be dressed up for night or worn in the day.

6. I really like the Jeffrey Campbell Litas and H&M have some really similar boots for a fraction of the price. I would like them in black and tan but on the website they only have the tan ones in stock at the moment.

I'd love to know what you want for Christmas maybe I can add to my list.

My Autumn/Winter Skincare routine

So recently I have changed my Skincare routine as the weather is colder now my skin does become a little dry in some areas.

At the end of the day I like to remove my eye make-up with Skin Therapy Normal & Combination Face Wipes as I don't have an eye make-up remover and I find it easier as these wipes remove waterproof make-up. I then use Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water to remove the rest of my make-up and I find that a little bit goes a long way so it has lasted me a while. I usually have a shower in the evening as it saves time for me in the morning for collage and I like to wash my face with the Simple Moisturising Face Wash. Once I get out of the shower and my skin is still damp I moisturise with Soap & Glory Butter Yourself moisture lotion. I tone my face using Simple soothing face toner which helps shrinks my pores after the hot shower. The last product I use on my face is the Simple hydrating light moisturiser. To keep my hand moisturised throughout the colder months I use Soap & Glory Moisture mask and Hand cream in the morning and before bed.

A Day at Moors valley

A few I went to Go Ape at Moors Valley. Even though I found out I have a fear of heights I still had fun.

Here I am going down the Zip wire.

This was my first time at go ape even though it was so high up and hard work I would like to go again.

August Favourites

I have never done a favourites post before but better late than never. This post will mostly be beauty related with a few other things added in.

I have been loving the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water to remove my make up at the end of the day.

I only have two colours from Tanya Burrs Lips and Nails so far and my favourite is Aurora.

My batiste dry shampoo fruity & cheeky cherry has been a life saver this summer because it has been so hot my hair has been getting greasy more often and this helped so much.

Butter yourself Moisture Lotion Soap & Glory has been keeping my skin moisturised throughout the summer.

I don't usually use hair products after I wash my hair but I have been using this every time over the summer and my hair has had no frizz as it says.

I have had my Remington Pearl wand for a couple of years and it has always been a favourite but I always did the same curls with it. I watched one of Zoella's video's, her Spring/Summer Hair and Make up and I love the hair and this is now my go to hair style.

As it has started to become a bit colder I have been using my Yankee candle tart warmer in the evenings and my all time favourite scent is Black cherry.

Pretty Little Liars is one of my favourite shows I can't wait until it returns for christmas.

 My Everything came out at the end of August and I still can not stop listening to it all of Ariana Grande's songs are my favourite.

Music~ #2014BloggerChallenge

I have a few different artists on my playlist this spring. One direction, Ariana Grande, 5 Seconds of Summer and Little Mix.

I have been listening to One Direction Midnight Memories. Mu favourite songs on this album is Midnight Memories, Don’t forget where you belong and Happily.

I have been listening to all of Ariana grande’s songs on her Yours Truly album. One of my favourite songs of hers is the one she has just released Problem featuring Iggy Azelea. I also love Tattooed Heart.

I have also be loving she looks so perfect by 5 Seconds of Summer and Salute by Little Mix

Sorry for not posting that often

Hi guys, sorry I haven't been posting that often and have missed a couple of the #2014BloggerChallenge. It's because My laptop broke so I had to get a new one so now hopefully I can post more often. Photo's of my work

Since I missed topic 7 of #2014BloggerChallenge which was about photo's I thought I would just show you some of the makeup I have done for college as I am training to be a Makeup artist,  I only have about 7 weeks left which isn't that long. I am very excited to be qualified in something I love to do. The makeup I used is from my college kits so it isn't a well known brand and isn't the best that could be used. But once I start earning and save money I will be able to buy High end makeup for my kit.

This is one of the first makeups I did on someone else and it is a night out look. I have put gold on the lids and then a black on the outer v I also placed some black and gold on the lower lash line. For the lips I just used a light pink called sheer twig.

This makeup look is good for a prom. I used a silver on the lids and a dark shimmery grey on the outer v. One the lips i used a light shimmer pink lip gloss.

  

This an everyday makeup look. I used a light shimmer pale pink on the lids and a light matte brown through the crease and a dark matte brown on the outer v. On the lips I used a nude lipstick.

This makeup look was created for a competition and the theme was fantasy so I chose to do a forest pixie and I came 2nd place out of about 30 people. I used a gold on the lid and dark green mixed with black through the crease and outer v. I used a dark green eyeshadow with a bit of shimmer for the eyebrows. I contoured the face using a dark green eyeshadow. For the lips I used a light and ark green eyeshadow to create an ombre affect.

Food ~ #2014BloggerChallenge

If you love nutella and hot chocolate then you will love this quick and easy recipe for A Nutella Hot cholocolate

Ingredients

2tsp of Nutella

Milk of your choice

Microwave

Your favourite mug

1. Put 2tsp of nutella into the mug, and fill the mug with milk

2. Put in the microwave for 10 seconds at a time and mixing in between until it is hot and all mixed in together.

3. Add any topping you would like e.g. whipped cream or marchmallows, to finish it off

 If you recreate this I would love for you to tweet me pictures of your hot chocolates maybe you can add your own litttle twist to it.

Nails ~ #2014BloggerChallenge

Topic 5 of #2014BloggerChallenge is all about nails so I thought I would do a NOTD since I love to paint my nails.

On my nails I have the colour 'mink' by 17 which came in a pack 9 different mini nail varnishes. I think that nude colours can be worn all year round so that's why I love this colour. I also stuck a gem to jazz it up and make it a little less plain. I would really recommend this colour as the varnish is great quality for the price at only £3.99 a bottle.

High End V High Street ~ #2014BloggerChallenge

So this is topic 4 of #2014BloggerChallenge and it is all about High street and High end products. Since I am a student I can't afford much and I don't have many High end products so I thought I would do a Wish list of everything I want but can't have yet.

1. Smashbox Full Exposure palette. I have been wanting this since it came out as I think it is the perfect neutrals palette with shimmers and mattes.

2. Nars Orgasm / Laguna Duo. I have been wanting both of them in single form for a while as they are really nice colours and looking at reviews of them made me want them more.

3. Chanel Vitalumiere aqua. I have seen the Pixiwoo sisters use this a couple of there videos and I love the finished look of it.

4. Mac Paint pot in Painterly. I have seen many youtubers use this in their tutorials to even out the skin and work as a base for eyeshadow and I like how it evens out the skin tone and covers up any veins on the eyelid.

5. Urban Decay Naked 1, 2 & 3. I have a cheap dupe for the first one which I have done a review HERE. But I would like the real thing as I love all the colours in each palette.

Books - #2014BloggerChallenge

So the 3rd installment of the 2014BloggerChallenge is all about books. I don't read many books but there is a series of books that I loved and re-read.

It is a series called 'The misadventures of Tallulah Casey'. These books were written by Louis Rennison who wrote the Confessions of Georgia Nicolson and the main character Talluah is Georgia's couson. I would recommend these books to anyone who loved the georgia nicolson books and the film. Sorry I don't have much to say about this but as I said I'm not a big fan of reading books. My Skincare Routine - #2014BloggerChallenge

The 2nd topic of #2014BloggerChallenge is all about skincare so I thought I would tell you about my skincare routine and the products I use every morning and night.

I would only use my 'Simple Kind To Skin Cleansing wipes' if I need to remove any make up.

I would then use my 'simple kind to skin moisturising facial wash' to remove any extra make up and to refresh my face. I love this product as it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin.

Next I would use my 'simple kind to skin soothing toner' to keep my skin clarified and refreshed.

The last thing I would use is my 'simple kind to skin hydrating moisturiser' to keep my skin refreshed and nourished. I love it as it works as a great base for my foundation and works like a primer.

As you can see all the products I use are simple and that is because they are great for sensitive skin. So I hope you liked this post and keep coming back for more of #2014BloggerChallenge
