My Favourite Winter Lip Colours

Through out the year I tend to stick to nude colours but in the winter I add in a few darker colours from time to time.

I don't wear 'Revlon Black Cherry' often as it is a very dark colour but it is one of my favourites. It is a deep plum colour and is perfect for the Autumn and Winter months.

Every one needs a red in their favourites and mine at the moment is 'Barry M LPS1'. This is more of a pinky red so I use it with my 'Maybelline Pleasure Me Red'.

'MAC Velvet Teddy' will always be a favourite of mine. It is a darker nude so it is perfect for the colder months.

Lastly if I'm not in the mood to wear a lipstick I usually wear 'Tanya Burr Lipgloss - Macaroon' to give my lips some colour.

Skincare Routine - Updated

The last time I updated you on my skincare routine was nearly 2 years ago and it has changed quit a bit since then. My skin is not as oily any more and I have dry patches in some places but I think thats has something to do with the weather. So I thought I would update you on what I use now.

To remove my makeup I use 'Skin Therapy Normal & Combination face wipes. I know you shouldn't use face wipes but I find it the easiest way to remove my eye makeup as anything else usually makes my eyes sting.
To remove the remainder of my makeup I use 'Garnier Micellar Water'. I love this as it dry out my skin.
To cleanse my skin I use 'Soap & Glory The UltiMelt Deep Purifying hot cloth cleanser'. I have only recently started to use this but it has immediately become a favourite of mine.
The last thing I do is moisturise using 'Soap & Glory For Daily Youth 6in1 SuperBoost Moisture lotion'.

Chunky Glitter Christmas nails

On my nails today I have 'Tanya Burr nail polish in Carnival night. If it was any other time of the year I would not wear chunky glitter, but I feel like when its Christmas you wear more glittery things.

My Christmas Decorations

I finally have my Christmas decorations up and it is making me feel so much more festive.

This is my mini Christmas tree that sits on my drawers. I have copper baubles from Sainsbury's and lights from Primark on it.

Above my drawers I made this Christmas bunting out of wrapping paper and twine.

And finally by my bed I have these wall white fairy lights from Wilkonsons and a diy Merry Christmas garland that I made.

Melted Snowmen & Polar Bears

Today I decided to make some Christmas themed treats. So I have decided to share them with you. There will hopefully be another Christmas treats post next week as there are more things that I want to try.

Melted snowman biscuits

You will need:

-rich tea biscuits

-icing sugar and water

-marshmallows

-writing icing

Polar Bear Oreos

You will need:

-Oreos

-White chocolate (melted)

    -mini marshmallows (for the ears)

    -chocolate chips (the nose)

    -writing icing
